Who's your superhero?

Who is your superhero?  If you could be any one of them which would it be?  I think every mommy out there in one way or another wants to be Wonder Woman.  I know I do, I mean who wouldn't want to rock a skimpy outfit laced with gold, fly an invisible jet, and carry a whip that demands truth? She is the epitome of gorgeous woman that never makes a mistake, that never forgets, and never hurts or hurts others...can we refer back to the fact that she carries a whip!!! Each of us wants to be able to clean the house, get groceries, finish at least one load of laundry, cook dinner, help the kids through homework without pulling our hair out,  and get dinner on the table--oh, and dinner has to please each of them or else no ones eating--all before six o'clock each night.  Did I mention we work full-time too?  We have become multi-tasking machines able to leap buildings in a small bound. Wait...I think that's Superman.
Here's the problem: we very rarely put ourselves first in that endless list of tasks and it's our own fault.  Admit it ladies, God only knows the last time you spent money on a manicure/pedicure for yourself becuase "I don't have the time," or "it's just too expensive."  Yes, Wonder Woman is able to save the day, but she does it being beautiful, sexy and smart.  Each of us is beautiful, sexy and smart, but too many times in order to save the day those lists come before taking care of ourselves and then beautiful, sexy, and smart is replaced with worn down, frustrated, and ugly.  As I grow older I realize more and more each day that my journey in this life and maybe yours too is to find my Wonder Woman within, to find a balance in my life between those endless lists and being and feeling beautiful, sexy and smart, to be almost Wonder Woman.
